Beautifully written! I’m one of the oldsters who love Princess and your attitude is amazing. I’m staring 70 in the face but have even more fun cruising now than I did in my 30’s. After cruising with husbands and boyfriends, I must say, it’s fabulous going with lifelong girlfriends and even relatively new ones.
Beautifully said! We have been Princess cruisers for 20 years and love every cruise. We are in our late 60’s and I also admire the couples older than us. They have “spunk” and it’s wonderful to see them living their “Best Life”! Glad you had such a great trip. Your writing is amazing!
This has to be my favorite writing you have done in your newsletter. You share so much and it is obvious that you are growing as a person. I'm glad you had fun on your cruise and thanks for your imparting your wisdom about aging!
We’re just blessed beyond measure!! Just got off the Sky on February 28. Even though we’re in the crowd of 55+ we enjoy cruising and camping. I still work a 40 hour week, staying active. Enjoyed your post, we are all going to get older but it give us dreams to see others enjoy life. Wife has an aunt in assisted living with dementia, it’s sad. Hope I always remember her name. If you ever get a chance need to watch “Notebook” a good but sad movie.
Your vacation sounds like such a lovely experience! And it certainly gave you a new perspective on aging and loving and living life well . Very well written and I love the pictures that you included!
Great article Katie! Thanks for sharing David.. My daughter and son and their significants (all 20 something) going on our next cruise on the sky with us. Loved your perspective. And YES - us middle to upper agers can definitely still party!!! 😂❤️
I enjoyed your article! I too am part of the 55+ crowd, but your as young as you feel. I enjoy the little things like watching people dance, which I can’t (don’t have the rhythm) tripping over my feet! It’s what you make it, too many times in this world we get caught up in all the negativity! I love cruising with my smoking hot wife! After 52 years we share the same things in life!
Wow, it sounds like you are living the dream, Terry! Thank you so much for taking time to share your experiences with me. Which cruise line is your favorite?
Katie you are setting the bar very high and each week it raises with your amazing words. Reading this was like reliving our vacation again. I love how you are able to break things down and really analyze life in a healthy way. So proud of you!
Nice article Katie. I must say that ageing isn’t all bad and you truly are “as young as you feel”. I’m 55 and hubby 65 - we go on our 2nd cruise on Royal Princess at New Year but that is after we go on a scuba diving holiday in May, on various trips in our Motorhome and numerous live concerts including Pink, Muse, Peter Gabriel and Depeche Mode (and they are in within 10 days in June!). Life stops and slows down only if and when you want it to xx

Wow, I can imagine how fun that would be and I hope to convince my girlfriends to go someday 💕

Thank you so much, Mark! I guess I set the bar for you and I have to try to top that now, so thanks for the challenge 😜
